ALCS Game 5 Kibbles
Free taco count: 5
1. Treats.
2. Craig Sager better pack up his jackets because we're going to Tampa!
3. I really like the Sox gameplan last night. Pretend like you stink for 7 innings, get down 7 to 0, make the Rays taste the champagne, and then crush their morale.
4. I think it's fair to say that this series is over. Bring on the Phillies!
5. Those Phillies' execs in the stands scouting the Rays can rip up their notes. Those won't be on the exam.
6. It seems to be against logic, but you just have to accept the fact that Dice-K does not lose. Ever. No matter how may men he puts on base, no matter how many runs he gives up. Just accept it and move on.
7. We're shipping up to Tampa!
8. It's like night and Ray.
Play hard. Feast hard.

Wasn’t that an exciting finish last night?!! It just can’t get any better than that. We in our household never give up until the last Red Sox batter of the game has been retired. Until then, as Joaquin Andujar of the Astros, Cardinals, and Athletics once said, “There is ONE word in America that says it all, and that one word is, 'You never know.'"
How about all those great fans who left Fenway early, or those at home who turned off the game because they figured it was a lost cause? They deserve to have missed out on all the rapture.
And while we’re certainly hoping the magic continues for the next two games, even if it doesn’t, ALCS Game 5 will be right up there in thrills we will always remember for the rest of our nine lives.

I am still shell-shocked. These guys never say die, and can never do things the easy way! They always have to have one series where they make things as crazy as possible. Unbelievable! Can you believe we have Beckett and Lester for the next 2 games?! Let's hope they are in form on Saturday and Sunday! At least the weather won't affect pitching and hitting - let's hope the catwalks and dome don't either (at least not in bad ways)! Go Sox! And as usual, never say die!

My human had to go to Washington and saw an outfit that you can wear when you are in charge of Animal Affairs under Barack. I'll e-mail you the photo at your gmail address.

Thanks for the head's up on the shirt, Emmet. I think I'd look good in it, especially since I love to hunt donkey like horses.

Thought I'd share my favorite post from today on mlb.com -
"They're like the Baseball Team of the Living Dead: they cannot be killed. As a Phils fan, I do not care to face a Red Sox team that has just come back from a 3-1 deficit."
Don't you just love it!

That's a great quote you found from a Phillies fan, Emmet. Let's hope that both the Rays and the Phillies players, in addition to their fans, are starting to quake in their boots now. The Rays players were looking pretty grim during the Game 5 comeback, and even grimmer when the comeback was finished.
