Trade Kevin Millar!
Kevin Millar almost did us in last night in the ninth even though we had a big lead. This guy is the real deal. We are lucky he only bats once in the order. Anyway, all Sox fans should sign the online Petition to Trade Kevin Millar. We need him either to come to the Red Sox, or at least get traded out of the AL East so we don’t have to face his offensive firepower 20 times per year. Plus he could hurt somebody and we already have enough players on the DL.

At least the Red Sox were able to hang on and win last night, even though it turned from a laugher into a nail-biter all of a sudden.
I had to use my litterbox three times during the ninth inning, and I almost missed some important plays. It’s a good think my human thought to get us a DVR so he can pause it when I have to take a nervous break.

We get the Orioles telecasts here where we live, and during Thursday night’s game against the Orioles, the announcers talked to Kevin Millar’s mother on the phone.
It seems that she is a baseball player herself, and when she was pregnant with Kevin, she kept playing all the way through her eighth month. And when Kevin was small, he slept with a bat and glove all the time.

Our all-time favorite player, Mike Lowell, slammed home a Grand Salami last night. How about a Tribute Ode?
We all call him Sarge, cause he looks like a grizzled World War II G.I. straight outta that series Combat.
An ode to Lowell could be in the works for early next week. I think he looks like George Cloney!

Wow, Pupi – I had no idea how mad some of the O’s fans are about Millar throwing out a pitch at Fenway. A petition to get rid of him! If I were them, I would be more upset about being in last place. He’s one of their better players!
