Food Fight!
I was pretty disappointed that Josh Beckett didn’t bean any Yankees after Farnsworth threw head-high behind Manny because Manny kept hitting homers every time he was up. I really thought Beckett was going plunk Johnny Damon, but Josh just kept his cool and just went on getting Yankees out. I thought someone should have at least thrown some food. Like Ortiz could have chucked a pork chop at Jason Giambi or something. Mmmm, pork chops. Anyway, I’ll look forward to some retaliation in the next Sox/Yanks series. And pork chops.
Kevin Millar notes: Micheal Kay told me that Millar was the last person to hit 3 homers off the Yanks in one game, something Manny almost did tonight. Millar also had a Web Gem on Baseball Tonight.
Big Pupi
Squirrel Shirts!
Yes, Big Pupi, Kevin Millar has been doing very well for the Orioles lately. We get to see them because we live nearby. My cheap human won’t get MLB so we could then watch all the Red Sox games. As it is now, we only get to see the Red Sox when they are on national TV or when they play the Orioles.
But I can’t complain because I don’t earn enough money to get MLB myself. Nobody will pay me to sleep 16 hours a day, and bat my rubber mice around for 3 hours.
Eleanor
Hey Eleanor! I traded my human 5 pieces of cheese so he would buy me the MLB package. Little does he know that I actually stole the cheese from him in the first place. Stupid humans.
Pupi
Remember the game bettween the Red Sox and the Yankees on September 15 2007. Chien Ming Wang threw a picht that hit Kevin Youklis in the forearm. Youklis will go on to miss about a week after that incident. Josh Beckett was on the mound for the Red Sox in that game and at one point retired 11 Yankees in a row. His will then hit Giambi in the shoulder in the 7th inning. That in my mind showed that Beckett kept his cool for a while but in his mind he was thinking all along that the Yankees haven’t seen the best of the Red Sox. The diffrence is that this game is a April game. The other game was a September game. Expectations are higher in a September game than a April game. That’s why I think Beckett reacted the way he did on Thursday game. Or maybe Beckett thought It just wasn’t worth it. Red Sox were winning and he probaly felt like the Red Sox were going to be the bigger team and walk away with a win. They are the World Champions so they act like the Champions they are.
